History of: WCW p4

The Monday Night Wars the best time to be a wrestling fan in other than the 1980's, difference is that this time WWF has competition the WCW who is about to start the climb. Now that WCW had a show they could compete with WWF which they did starting from the first show which i covered last time. Bischoff though the lead guy was also the lead announcer for the first few years of Nitro with Bobby Hennan & Steve McMichael. Eric also used dirty tatics do get the viewers which would comeback to bite him in the future some of the tatics were, giving away the results to Raw & having Aludra Blazye the then WWF Womens Champion dump the title in the trash on LIVE tv. The tide began to turn in May of 1996 when who else but Razor Ramon (aka Scott Hall) on WCW programing & this was before the internet so nobody knew why he was their. 2 weeks later one of his associates showed up his good friend and ex WWF Champion Kevin Nash an they both are getting a large amount of cash money & a clause that if anyone is sign to more they make then they get a raise to more than what the guy just got paid.
Then the ppv came Bash At the Beach 96 Hall & Nash vs Sting, Luger, & Savage who would be the third man well they wanted it to be Sting but, no who is a top face hmmm.... After Luger gets hurt and taken backstage here comes Hogan down the ramp to "help" WCW but then leg drops Savage and. The NWO is formed another thing that goes on to kill WCW in the long run. From that point until mid 98 WCW won in the ratings almost putting the WWF out of business especially after Starcade. Starcade 97 ICON vs Legend Sting vs Hulk Hogan for the belt this match had 15 months of hype behide it and was one of Bischoff shining moments in the WCW. However due to the not clean ending and Sting being put down for almost a 3 count by Hogan also him being stripped of the title the next night, & the fact that many viewed it as their big chance to eclipse WWF permanetlly not good for morale or the future of this company. Early 98 WCW is still way ahead of the WWF but things dont stay that way because here is when the WWF move forward & WCW move back with an Attitude. Also in 1998 WCW made a second show on TBS called Thunder but like Bret Hart stint this show did live up to expectations Nitro had set.
Going Futher into 1998 is the rising star known as Goldberg who had debuted last September and was taking the wrestling world by storm winning every match he was in even July 6 1998. Goldberg vs Hulk Hogan for the world title could have made a very good ppv match but know only care about the ratings. At this Goldberg was more popular then the WCW.
Next time on the History of WCW: things get even worse for WCW as they continue to lose money, talent, ratings, & fans more information on all these topics on the next part of the history of WCW
