Today one of the first performers of a major company past away before the age of 40 which unfortunatlly happends to often nowadays but was a rare occurance back then. This day something special because Brian William Pillman passed away today 14 years ago at the age of 35. It was the first of many drug related death that have hauted the wrestling world since as early as the late 80's when this was running ramped through the WCCW early death age. But during his life Brian was one of the best High Flyers of the 90's & could have been the first to be pushed to promincence but because of the bad booking in WCW he lost the opportunity to be a great singles star but a great tag star. 3 things that you need to know about brian from his WCW run and those are misused, mistreated, mismanaged. Brian was misused because he was cliquing as a singles star in the lightweight division they take him out he joins up with Austin (Hollywood Blondes) they have success booking breaks them up. Mistreated he could have been pushed to the moon from the loose cannon gimmick but again WCW screwed up and got him to quit and go to ECW to develop it instead. Mistreated really because of want i just said instead of pushing him they got him to quit. In ECW he did develop it but that is also where he got into a car accident & severely injured his leg (which contributed to the end of his life). During his time in ECW developed his gimmick so well WWF signed him an brought him in to fight his ex-partner Steve Austin. During his WWF tenure he feuded with Austin (Infamous Pillman's got a gun episode of RAW), Goldust, DX, & others. Also he was a part of the Hart Foundation (with Bret, Owen, Bulldog, & Anvil). Pillman was in feud with Goldust real name Dustin Rhodes over Terri Runnels aka Marlena's managing services. They were going to fight at IYH Bad Blood but Brian died the morning prior to the show and never did the match or finished the feud. I remember Brian as a crazy SOB who almost pissed in the middle of a ECW ring, as the guy who called Kevin Sullivan the booker on ppv, & gone to soon.

With the first tv taping on the horizon ROH has been trying to sign many of their stars to new deals like Davey, Eddie, Roddy, Genrico, etc. They have however signed Tomasso Ciampa, Hass & Benjamin, Cole & O' Riley, as well couple of other people. Today the news broke that you should add another to that group and his name is Jay Lethel competing last at BITW for ROH is scedualed to challenge Genrico this saturday night for the TV title. WWE Fast Lane 2015: PPV Predictions

WWE Fast Lane: WWE Tag Team Title Match: (c) The Uso's vs Cesaro & Tyson Kidd As the Tag division gets smaller and smaller in my book the expectations of this match should be getting higher, because the smaller the division the more weight it puts on the shoulders of the teams in the division. I do firmly believe if they give this match the time it could be a good match, as these teams I feel have good chemistry in the ring with each other. I think Cesaro and Kidd walk away with the titles after Nattie turns heel helping Tyson & Cesaro win. Divas Title Match: (c) Nikki Bella w/ Brie vs Paige Though this has been like much of the diva feuds of the past with the fact that this feud has gotten a lot of TV time leading into this match. However, I still fear that WWE isn't ready to give the divas a good amount of time for their matches just yet. WZR is reporting that the future of WWE diva Kelly Kelly may be in doubt not that WWE would fire her but that the time off she is taking now may be permenate. Kelly who debuted 6 years ago hasnt really taken any time away from the ring since debut and many think she is burnt out from all the travel. Because of that many feel will not return to WWE but management isnt happy because they feel she is their most marketable diva. While away she is looking into doing things that have nothing do with wrestling as her placement in the Maxim top 100 has opended a lot of doors for her away from WWE. I hope Kelly or WWE dont burn the bridge preventing a possible return for Kelly if she does decide to go away from WWE becuase she is a very marketable talent.
