This day in Westling History

Today the wrestling world suffered a major loss as promoter & a major player in the history of wrestling this man died at the age of 79 his name was Jack Pfefer. Jack was apart of a prior post in the first Nerd Note he was Ricky Star's manager. Jack also gave Lillian Ellison aka Fabulous Moolah her name when she wanted to start wrestling way back in the 1950's. Jack is famous for being the first promoter in the east to use TV as his advantage propelling Jim Londos to center stage existence. Jack is more known for reveling the secrets of the business in November of 1934. This happened because ally Jim Londos who ran a company in the northeast combined with Jack Currly who Pfefer hated for making Londos quit the eastern territory. Also combing Fabini, Packs, White, Mondt, & Bowser which lead to one group later refered to as the NWA running North America. So bitter & looking for revenge on those who took him out of the business he screwed them and costed them thousands & thousands of dollars. Also the wrestling world many years of success so Jack has left a very profound affect on the wrestling world until he passed at a nursing home at the age of 79 in Boston. The legacy he leaves is controversial & the ability to be both a good & bad promoter still are seen today.
