Today in the first weekend of the new year and that also means it's the first weekend of wrestling in the new year. It's the time when companies attempt to start the new year out on the right foot and maybe even start the new year better then the prior year ended. Well right now I want to take this chance to mention two big events happening this weekend, both of which are taking place tomorrow. First it is a big show and one you may have heard about in the two of my more recent interviews, it is the One Year Anniversary show for On-Point Wrestling which will be taking place in Sewell, NJ tomorrow night. The other show is not big because it's their first show of the new year but it's big because a former start returns home. I am talking about the show Ring of Honor is running tomorrow live from Nashville as former TNA Star AJ Styles returns.

Both shows are big in their own right because it's actually really big for On-Point having their one year anniversary and AJ Styles return is big also. But AJ returning to ROH also means big things for the independent circuit as it gives numerous companies a fresh guy to book. Below are two videos hyping both events respectively:

With the first tv taping on the horizon ROH has been trying to sign many of their stars to new deals like Davey, Eddie, Roddy, Genrico, etc. They have however signed Tomasso Ciampa, Hass & Benjamin, Cole & O' Riley, as well couple of other people. Today the news broke that you should add another to that group and his name is Jay Lethel competing last at BITW for ROH is scedualed to challenge Genrico this saturday night for the TV title. WWE Fast Lane 2015: PPV Predictions

WWE Fast Lane: WWE Tag Team Title Match: (c) The Uso's vs Cesaro & Tyson Kidd As the Tag division gets smaller and smaller in my book the expectations of this match should be getting higher, because the smaller the division the more weight it puts on the shoulders of the teams in the division. I do firmly believe if they give this match the time it could be a good match, as these teams I feel have good chemistry in the ring with each other. I think Cesaro and Kidd walk away with the titles after Nattie turns heel helping Tyson & Cesaro win. Divas Title Match: (c) Nikki Bella w/ Brie vs Paige Though this has been like much of the diva feuds of the past with the fact that this feud has gotten a lot of TV time leading into this match. However, I still fear that WWE isn't ready to give the divas a good amount of time for their matches just yet. WZR is reporting that the future of WWE diva Kelly Kelly may be in doubt not that WWE would fire her but that the time off she is taking now may be permenate. Kelly who debuted 6 years ago hasnt really taken any time away from the ring since debut and many think she is burnt out from all the travel. Because of that many feel will not return to WWE but management isnt happy because they feel she is their most marketable diva. While away she is looking into doing things that have nothing do with wrestling as her placement in the Maxim top 100 has opended a lot of doors for her away from WWE. I hope Kelly or WWE dont burn the bridge preventing a possible return for Kelly if she does decide to go away from WWE becuase she is a very marketable talent.
