History of TNA part 4
This is hopefully the last part of this blog as that really isnt much else to say for this well lets get started. Going into 2009 nothing really big expect the final World X Cup ever was this year and Mick Foley became the second person to hold both the WWE & TNA World heavywieght titles. At this point the Main Event Mafia was still running rampant around TNA, i apologize as also this was the last King of the Mountain Match with winner beging Kurt Angle (you can get the full story in this day in wrestling history of the 21st.) Also a few former stars came back like Shane Douglas for a short time and also Raven who came back to do somthing with Abyss. TNA also parted ways with a few people during this year Jimmy Rave, Lance Hoyt (Vance Archer), Christopher Daniels, Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt & Sheki Abdul Bashir.
Near the end of 2009 rumors started to run amuck in TNA that Hulk Hogan signed a contract with TNA and would becoming with someone on Janurary 4 from when the rumors started until they were proven true. People were undecided how to feel all except Kevin Nash who thought yah i am getting my old buddys back. So that show was also a first in TNA the first of 2010 and the first Monday Night show with a large amount of surpries ranging from the debuts and returns of whos who in pro wrestling. Starting with of course the debuts of Hogan & Bishoff in TNA (also last year saw Taz take over the booth with tenay replacing don west). Also you saw Ric Flair which shock everyone & also returns with Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, & Jeff Hardy; but wait how could i forget the most important debut being the Nasty Boys. Probably the stupidist decision TNA has ever made in its history. For most of the year things are looking good they had the shock at genisis with the debut of Ken Anderson (another ex WWE star) and Flair and Aj turing heel after screwing Kurt Angle. The NWO got back together with Waltman, Nash & Hall for few months but when Hall & Waltman started back to their old track records they got fired. Mid way through the year both the Nasty Boys who bring in Jimmy Hart for 2 appearences never seen again are gone & Hall & waltman gone to. Aug of that year TNA does their tribute to ECW with Hardcore Justice having the ECW originals come back but after the ppv an angle starts with them and fortune or the new horseman with Flair, Morgan, Styles, Beer Money, Kaz, & Doug Williams. Then the biggest thing of the year 10/10/10 IMMORTAL forms with Jeff Jarrett, Bishoff, Hogan, Jeff Hardy, & Abyss later combining with Fortune
Since then TNA has been midiorce not getting the ratings they could and not pushing people in 9 years they have only made one homegrown guy and that AJ how i dont know cause they have a lot of other people they could make but they just dont now Fortune and Immortal still the main feud almost 1 year later and some new guys but also some not will TNA ever reach its full potential i have vented you guys tell me cause i dont know what else to say
