This day in Westling History

Looking back this day 4 years ago was TNA PPV Genesis which saw the debut of Booker, T in the main event. This night also saw the ending of the Fight for the Right tournament when Christian fought Kaz in a Ladder match & Kaz won it was a match that could have made Kaz a star. This show was also the height of Robert Roode's first push as he fought Samoa Joe on this card. Also it saw the Steiner Brothers get a tag team title shot against Styles & Tomko but they came up short in the match. The main event was Kurt Angle defending the World Title in a tag team match teaming with Kevin Nash vs Sting & Booker, T. It worked in the way that whoever got the pin got the World Title, but Angle won the match. This is a ppv that TNA should look back at because this has the matches that deserve time getting the time & having good action. Also a balance of young people & legends on this show which is how it should be because young guys deserve time on ppv as much as the veterans. Which is part of their problem now they have the veterans getting more of the TV time then the young guys which shouldn't be how it is because it should be a balance one shouldn't have more then the other. Little history Booker came in at the end of 2007, stayed for all of 2008 and left mid way through 2009 and left TNA because he didn't want to lose his spot sound familiar WCW.
