Stevie Ray over Buff Bagwell, Announcement made if Awesome wins his match he’ll face Goldberg but if Bret wins he faces Goldberg, also if they both it’s a Triple Threat. Mike Awesome decimates La Parka, Chris Benoit def Dean Malenko, Bret Hart defeats Lance Storm (Post Match: Awesome tries to run down but then out of the crowd walks Kevin Nash stopping Awesome in his tracks. New Blood are out and each say something about they said they’d beat the
“Legends” and they did. Then Jeff introduces the reason they stayed one step
ahead of the “Legends” David Flair. David clues the people in on how he did it,
how duped his dad and the other feeble minded supposed legends into thinking he
got fired. It was sad to actually see his dad pretend that he cares for the first
time in David’s life but what made it all worth it was seeing his dad’s face
when he jumped the rail last night and his dad saying What the Hell are you
doing here!!!!! To think it was me that made my dad lose the biggest match of
his career makes me happy. Storm takes the mic and finishes it by saying the
New Blood is finally being taken serious and there is nothing anyone can do

Mysterio Jr over The Wall in a Handicap Match (Post Match: The Wall attacks Rey
& Kidman, knocks Kidman to the floor then goes to the Announcers Table and
proceeds to Choke Slam Rey Jr through the table), Curt Hennig & Barry

is shown getting stretchered out of the arena with Kidman going with him. Hype

and that he did it to support his family but also because he loves this sport
more than anyone would know. David makes his way out, he says really Dad more
than anyone would know I think I know how much you love the business you love
it more than your family, more the your friends, & more than your own
SON!!!!!! Ric keeping a level head tells David this isn’t the time or the place
to talk about it and we should talk about it later. David says no you always
said that it never happened; my friends in the “New Blood” helped me realize I
don’t need you or tradition and that you like most of the other “Legends”
belong in a home not in WCW anymore. The show ends with Ric getting emotional
in the ring

to the ring with a mic and says he has an important announcement about the
future of the Tag Team title “he states because of Rey Mysterio’s unfortunate
injury unless Kidman can find a new partner in 24 hours I am going to vacate
the Tag Titles from Mysterio & Kidman. Billy Kidman over The Wall, United
States Title Match: © Dean Malenko over Kaz Hayashi, Battle Royal to
determine #1 Contender for the United States title won by Lance Storm, Kevin
Nash comes out and says last Thursday when he came back from his time off he
says “I realized that this is what I still want to do if this company fired
most of my friends it is still my home, and some of my friends are still here
but I am sick of the fighting because I was a part of it for years with the
NWO. Now I don’t want to fight anymore from this point forth I am a not with
anyone I am just Big Sexy Kevin Nash that’s it. Lex Luger comes out and says
Big Man we need you on our side you give us an advantage in the fight. Nash
tells Lex I don’t want to fight anymore I here to wrestle not fight wars I am
done with that. (Kevin walks out of the ring), Sting vs David Flair (never
happens as Jarrett, Douglas, & Harris Brothers run down to attack Sting,
but then Lex Luger, Stevie Ray, & Buff Bagwell run down to try and help
Sting but the numbers game was just too much & the “New Blood” leaves WCW
lying), WCW World Title Match: Mike Awesome defeats Bret Hart & Goldberg in
a Triple Threat Match (Awesome pins Goldberg after Bret whacks Goldberg with a
foreign object in the head) Post Match: Bret and Awesome embrace & then the
New Blood walks and they all embrace with the Hitman, the show ends with the
New Blood celebrating in the ring.
January 17th Monday
Nitro: Boston, MA
The
New Blood kicks off the show & Bret has a mic and says he is ready to speak
well WCW Sucks this is the New Generation the people I am sharing this ring
with not the “Legends” backstage. People have been asking Bret, you grew up in
the business how you could turn your back on tradition and the other legends.
Tradition screw Tradition and screw all those idiots backstage and each &
every one of you here tonight. Face it you’re only booing me because you never
saw it coming. The New Blood isn’t the NWO we are better than NWO because at
least we aren’t past our primes were in them. (They leave), Devon Storm def
Elix Skipper, Christopher Daniels defeats Mike Modest, Lance Storm pins © Dean
Malenko to win United States title, President Russell makes his way to ring to
announce if the Tag titles are vacate or not. President Russell says “Last
Night at Sold Out I said Billy Kidman had 24 hours to find a new partner to
defend the tag titles here tonight or they would be vacate. Kidman spoke to me
backstage and told he couldn’t find a partner but wanted a shot at the new
champions when Rey comes back I told him that’d be fine.” Starting tonight I am
making a tag team tournament to determine the new WCW Tag Team Champions to
conclude at SuperBrawl in February. Bam-Bam Bigelow pins Jerry Flynn, Chavo
Guerrero & Juventud Guerrera over Perry Saturn & Phil Brooks {Chavo
pins Perry} (Post Match: Brooks attacks Saturn and then walks out), Diamond
