WWE Rant

I am sick of complaining about TNA so I figured switch because now WWE has given me a reason to complain. Also I am so sick of WWE just caring about one thing and not the big picture for the show.

I am talking about a story that just surfaced on WZR regarding WWE focusing more on the ratings and fixing the ppv buys. Here is an excerpt from the headline posted on WZRonline.com “WWE’s primary goal is the various television projects they have going, and not building PPV buys. The plan is said to be to use their PPV events to bring in more consistent viewers to the weekly television programs.” How does that make sense it says they have been focusing on the various TV projects rather than building up the ppv buys. Also how could they do the other part of that because people aint ordering the PPV’s because WWE aren’t hyping them then why people want to watch the weekly shows if they don’t want to watch a ppv with no meaning. They need to figure out that giving people a push has no point if you are just doing it to feed him to someone just so the fans can be happy for a few months. People in the business are starting to realize you need a long term plan for a story & if you can’t get the long term plan then the story shouldn’t go longer than 4 months. WWE has pushed numerous people over the past year but has had the push drop off because they didn’t have a long term plan for the guys. The guys like Miz, Cody Rhodes, Ziggler, Truth, Ryder, Christian & others. Also there are guys who have potential and if given a chance they could make it big like Tyson Kidd, Hennig, Hawkins, Riley, Ziggler, Cesaro, Slater, & many others. But they are to focused on having the 3’s that they consistently get for RAW. When they could spend probably 2 months building a few of these guys up to the top and then as long as they keep them around they will be fine. I just saw a tweet from Paul Heyman who said that the new generation in no matter what business needs to step up. I say but they can’t if the WWE isn’t giving them the opportunity. I will also take a quote from Jericho who said something to effect of “how can we find a guy with near the same mic skill as a Piper” he said they need to step up. That’s what he did in WCW since they weren’t pushing him he being Jericho asked for promo time before all of his matches, he talked the talked and walked the walked. Because of the time he got over in a company dominated by some of the biggest names in wrestling. I am not saying the future doesn’t need step up but like I said how could they if WWE doesn’t let them, it doesn’t have to be shoot like they did with Punk last year. Just like a minute or two before their matches so the people get used to them talking and just in case they are horrible on the mic you don’t give them the chance to look bad. Exploit the positive hide the negatives. I am not done this rant will continue!!
