RAW Review

Because of the fact that RAW was so much better then the Rumble and the past RAW's this year and for a while it feels like its worth talking about. Many of the matches were the best on RAW in a while overall & quality wise most of the matches were really good. Ziggler, Punk, Bryan, Miz, Kingston, & Orton all should the part of the year we must be in because the WWE product always gets good around mania season. But this show was the best one this year thus far which should say alot. Bryan & Punk have really good chemistry together & even their match was the only one not to end clean it was still a great match. Also a good ending because its going to start the feud over who is best in the world between Punk & Jericho which is something fans all over have wanted to see for a long time. The other four guys seem to have really jelled in their matches vs one another which is great to see especially as booker. In my opinion even though you can age is playing a part on ...

PPV Predictions

Royal Rumble John Cena vs. Kane this will be a good match as it has been getting a lot of hype time on RAW to get ready for the show this will not be the match of the night cause it doesnt need to be. I dont see Cena winning because they need to get Kane over a little more & keep making him get the better of Cena till John finally snaps (c)Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry Triple Threat Steel Cage Match this should be good to & if given enough time this could be Bryan on the right development wise towards becoming a major player in WWE. By that i see Bryan winning because they to aleast give him a couple successful defenses or he will just a transistion champion which should be to those guys (c)CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler Special Guest Referee John Laurinaitis this in my opinion has all the making to be the match of the night cause Punk & Dolph are to of the best guys in the ring in the WWE today and when they are there are very few if any that can match or be bette...

Opinion of Ring Ka King

I just watched the full first episode of the TNA Project called Ring Ka King which means King of the Ring it takes place in India. The show first of all it seemed like had more fans in attendance then any TNA show has and they were louder to into every match. We saw some guys from the states but also guys from India which is good because if your doing something in another country its good to have some homegrown talent with the product as well. But also American wrestlers are their to like Morgan, Dutt, Magnus, Steiner, Smith, Dinsmore, & Masters. Which also given some talent Rarely seen on TNA tv a chance to get a paycheck and work on a different countinent. Also TNA should use this for what it could be used as a way to get some new faces into TNA after the project is over they can use this a scouting opportunity. Cause they may not think that they do but they actually kinda do need some new faces not for the X-Division in TNA to spice things up. That would especially be true w...

WWE: PPV Problems

Since the begining of the PG era it seems like the WWE ppv's have been suffering for lack of a better word from the buys, to hype, to fan interest. WWE blames everything else but themselves they blame the economy, NFL, NBA, UFC, etc its never their fault which isnt true. If you look back to the period of 1997-2001 WWE's ppv's were in its golden age cause they were hyping the shows making matches people wanted to see. But ever since 2006 WWE has stopped doing and kept going with the same old formula that doesnt seem to be working. I just dont think they realized that the PPV format they had where the big ppv's were Royal Rumble-Backlash first half then King of The Ring-Unforgiven as second half making Summerslam & Wrestlemania the big Paper Views. But i think once then realized that they didnt have competition anymore they could change what worked and try something new. Which is what they did in 2002 which was the last time the King of the Ring was on PPV and the las...

Last One

I realized that even if I did another 4 more polls i still would not have gotten all the awards in so i decided to narrow it down to just 2 more polls. These polls will end of course on February 1 when all EOW Year end Award votes would be in and the winners will be shown in a blog post that day. Now though the last two awards are the Face of the year and Heel of the year reward the person you loved the most & loved the least by voting for them for this award. Some nominees for the face of the year are Richards & Edwards from ROH, Scotty Vortekz from CZW, James Storm from TNA, & CM Punk from WWE. The Heel of the year nominees are Roddy Strong from ROH, Silas Young from AAW, Mark Henry & Miz from WWE, & Robert Roode from TNA. Now two guys i want to go further in depth in are Scotty Vortexz & Silas Young these two are probably the least nationally known in the pack. First Scotty is a former Jr Heavyweight champion, Tag Champion with Dustin Lee, & the 2010 TOD ...

This day in Wrestling History

For the first time in over a month i am doing a this day in Wrestling History hopefully people will be a little more resceptive to it because its been gone for while. With the Royal Rumble right around the corner its only fitting to do this post about this first Royal Rumble which took place this day 25 years ago on the USA Network. This was a special for the USA network and invented by Pat Patterson who was working backstage at the time. This event saw 8 future WWE hall of famers step into the ring on that night and probably a lot of them will be future hall of famers but wow 8 future hall of famers who knew. Probably the thing that speaks the loudest is that the shortest time in the rumble was once a little over 2 minutes held by JYD. But then of course in 1990 the Warlord broke that record & then broken again by Santino in 09 who stayed in for .1 seconds. That shows how the philosophy of the Rumble has changed over the years & look at the first two winners Duggan & S...

Scouting Report

Drake Younger good in the ring good on mic Best Possible Feuds: Storm, Cole, Orton, Callihan, Cannon Drake debuted in the company he is now widely for CZW in 2006 apart of Tournament of Death 5 he made it to the finals but lost to Nick Gage. The he returned next for Tournament of Death 6 made it to the finals again but this time he beat Brain Damage to become TOD Champion. Then he went on to win the IWA Mid South Deathmatch title in a Hardcore Rumble in Feburary of 2007. In 2008 Younger, Vortekz, & Lee teamed together as the Naptown Dragons for the King of Trios which is a Chikara ppv. They lost in the first to IDK: UK, but then later in 2008 Younger defeated Nick Gage for the CZW World Title. That made Drake double champion as he also held the Ultraviolent Underground title at the same time. In September he won the Ted Petty Invatational tournament by defeating Callihan & Castagnoli in the finals of the tournament. In October at the CZW: Decision PPV he decided to gi...

Company Man

A couple of months ago word got out that Randy Orton had gotten hurt and would be taking time off to heal a back injury. Word going around is that Orton will be coming back on next week's Smackdown he will be facing or continuing his feud vs Barrett. Smackdown has actually been good without Orton on the show but not as good as it should have been because of the lack of consistantcy that the main events have given the show. As the main events have been lackluster of the past couple weeks with the not clean endings the last few weeks. This may actually be a positive thing for the show with Orton coming back because maybe they will finally given bryan a credible victory with the belt on the line. Because this gives them a chance to get another credible guy to put Bryan more over as a champion because he needs it very much as his crediblity is very lower then it should be as a champion. So WWE really needs it to help there ratings problem as it gives them another top guy to take the re...

WWE: Ratings Problem

I did this already for TNA now i going to share my thoughts on the flaws in the WWE this will be a blog series of probably 4 or 5 posts starting with this one. Over the past couple of weeks WWE has had ratings trouble and i am going to tell you some reason why i think that is. First because their are only two people on their roster with a good credibility as a main eventer which isnt the smartest thing to do. Those two people very rarely lose matches not because they are the best but because WWE has their favorites who they make sure that when in doubt they win because nobody else can make money like them. Whether it be Punk, Ziggler, Miz, Bryan, Rhodes, Barrett, Christian, etc nobody will go to height higher than or beat these two guys because they are the money makers and nobody else needs to be. I am sure your saying well Punk & Bryan are champions well that brings me to my next point the World Champions. All of the titles dont mean a damn thing which isn...

King Ka Ring better or Just as Bad

Over the past couple of months TNA has been scouting people for a project they are doing in India where they have american talent in india doing shows their to really expand foreign markets. Some people are saying that the shows they are doing in India are better then shows they doing in the states. Which could be true in many way first being they have for the most part lots of fresh faces on the project a majority of the people havent been seen by TNA management in this way before. Also its not the same people booking the TNA shows in the states these people actually know what they are doing. The last thing i can think of that can make people think that is the auidence they are not the same people that are at the shows every week and they never really get to see american wrestling so they are excited to see it. If only TNA management who notice what they are doing in india and do the samething for the product in US cause this one is in worse shape then the foregin products. Or even if...

What is Going on Here???

Actor Dennis Haskins has been petitioning on twitter to fill the GM role on RAW because as many have noticed the Interim moniker still has not been taken from Johnny Ace's name. For those who dont know Dennis he played Principal Mr Belding on the once popular show Saved By the Bell. Now he is friends with numerous WWE Superstars who have also signed his petition to become GM including Miz & Ryder. Yet the WWE hasnt listened & Haskins will be at RAW tonight but said he will not be on TV. I think this could be a good idea if done right because you may be able to get another auidence back to the product those being the old fans of Haskins from his days as Mr Belding. Also this move would come from out of left field and be something that nobody expected to see which used be how it was in the WWE. I mean you remeber that old WWE announcer who said "Anything can happen in the WWE" if thats true then this should happen to prove that the saying still reigns true. For mor...

Goodbye!!!!!!!

I was going to do a post about the Evolve show last night but i decided not to and i just decided to do a post about the Arena instead. That arena on the corner of Swason & Ritner has seen so many incredible things in its 20 years doing wrestling shows from 29 different companies. Some great Memories are Douglas throwing down the NWA title forming ECW, the Halo incident with Gary Wolf. For those who dont know about this incident well Douglas broke Gary's neck in a match prior on accident, but then during a match vs pitbull 1, Gary came into the ring in the Halo and Shane shook the halo knocking gary to the mat. This almost caused a riot in south philly luckly nobody got seriously hurt that night. When Raven crucified the Sandman on a cross with Kurt Angle in the Audinence, Raven vs Sandman feud as a whole. Tommy getting chokeslamed out of the crowns nest by Brain Lee through 4 tables to the floor. Jerry Lawler & Jim Cornette invading ECW, Spike Dudley crowd surfing after be...

What's Next

Over the last year numerous people have rose higher than some fans may have thought but other knew they could get their this your chance to reward a star for a job well done. This in my book is probably the most well rounded award because their is someone up for it from all the known indy companies & the 3 major promotions. The choices are Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, Johnny Gargano, Devon Moore, James Storm, & Kyle O' Riley all these guys deserve it but i am going to look further into two of the guys. First probably the least known guy Devon Moore from CZW in 2011 he won the World title in March and hasnt lost the strap since he also has proved he is more then just a hardcore misfit. He has really improved over the last year and CZW made the right choice putting him as champion. He also went 3 months without getting pinned which may not mean that much to some but it still means something. The other guy is Johnny Gargano not many people thought going into this year that Johnn...

Hall of Fame

this past Monday the WWE announced their first two inductees into the Hall of Fame this year Edge & 4 Horsemen specifically Flair, Arn, Barry, Tully, & JJ. What i think about it is that both inductees deserve it but for Edge i think it maybe to soon because he just retired last year. Also next years Wrestlemania will be in Toronto which is Edge's hometown and would have made sense to induct him their. But then again that may mean they have a big name Canadian or just a big name going in next year. Now to the Horsemen in my opinion the stable that laid the ground work for all other heel stables to follow which they did. Also they are one of the greatest stables of in wrestling history and they never fought a day together in WWE. Even though all but 3 of the members of the many different variations of the group never were all of them together in WWE. But they did however make the NWA famous when someone thought of the NWA they thought the Horsemen like Ric Flair, Arn And...

Flashback Report

While I am still going to do the scouting report i have decide to try this new thing were i write about people from the past tell me which one you guys like more. The feuds will be of those that he could feud with nowadays Rick Rude great on mic good in ring Best Possible Feuds: Roode, Bennett, Cena, Punk During his career Rude was one of the most hated wrestlers in some territories because of his cocky & arrogant attitude which made the fans hate him. Like many great stars of the 80's the Ravishing one soon found his way to WWF as apart of the Mcmahon westward expansion i guess you could call it. Before going to WWE Rick was with WCCW and was the WCWC World Champion & the top heel of the company & first world champion to top it off. He then is off to NWA were in his tenure he wins the tag titles with Manny Fernandez then is off to WWF. He won the Intercontinental title around year half in his tenure with help from Bobby Heenan his manager at the time. He also ha...

Post PPV Thoughts

To mix things up as i usually talk about the ones i got wrong but now i want to talk about the ones i got right. Specifically Gunner vs RVD & Roode vs Hardy because those are the two matches that stick out to me. I am going to go backwards and talk about the main event first then the other match right after that. So the main event of the ppv was a world title match Hardy vs Roode it was a good match the only thing once again was the ending. If you were going to make it happen like this at that ppv then you should not have made the dusty finish at the last one now the credibility, Roode should have as champion is not their cause your not booking him as a credible champion. Maybe having Roode cheat to win would have even been better then not making him get a win at two consecutive ppv's. Now people say Hardy will get a rematch on the next show well if he is going to win it anyway then why not make him win at the ppv's. Because it doesn't matter if you can make show good r...

PPV Predictions

Genesis The Pope vs Devon this will be a good opening match or a good filler somewhere deeper in the card cause there is hype and background with this match so you have the luxury of putting were its needed. Since Pope has Devon's kids on his side i think Pope will win by one of devon's kids getting invovled in the match. (c)Austin Aries vs Jesse Sorensen vs Kid Kash vs Zema Ion this should be a really good match cause of the athletic ability of all the guys in the match. I think though Austin has been a great champion i think its time for him to move on and let someone else get it and i going with Jesse cause he has been so close on many occasions i think this will be when he cashes in Mickie James vs (c) Gail Kim this will go a lot longer then a WWE divas match is one good thing about TNA they give the women a decent amount of which is great to see. Because she is still not over yet as heel and TNA is stubborn sometimes when it comes to this stuff i dont see Mickie winning ...

Next in line

Over the past year many stables have come and gone in the world of pro wrestling and some have left a lasting impression on us one that makes us think they are the best. But only one team and stable can be the best and that's what you guys are going to decide. Wether it's Air Boom from WWE or Ronin from dragon gate it's up to you. Now we look at some the choices so you know who your voting for: We will start with a stable from CZW they made impactful return to CZW this year and would be robbed if they weren't nominated for this award. They are named Blk Out with Robbie Mireno, Ruckus, Alex Colon, Rich Swann, Chrissy Rivera, & Sabian. All of these people are long stays in CZW except colon & Swann that's what offers a balance within the stable and they are up for this award. Another group who took a big step forward this year up to rhe top or the card are the guys from Dragon Gate Rich Swann, Chuck Taylor, & Johnny Gargano there name is Ronin. This year th...

In talks time to Walk

Rumors have been spreading so much over the last few days that it seems true it's not yet true though. Well in the past two months fans have been herring that Rob Van Dam after his contract expires could go back to WWE. Well that would be great for WWE because of the talent RVD has he can help get the young guys over which would be great. Not that but who doesn't want to see RVD back in WWE I mean he made their shows interesting cause your were shocked by how flexible he is and everything else he can do in the ring. This also maybe what he needs cause it doesn't seem like he has the passion for it anymore which I don't think that's true I just think he is sick of being at the mid card level when he could be high mid card or a main eventer with wwe. Rob will also join a group of former world champions who are coming back to WWE after time away. Nobody except RVD knows what he will do when his contract expires in March with TNA, yes 2 months left. But I am really sure...

Happy New Year

To all the fans of this site I would like to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year. Thank you all for the continued support of the site and don't stop let's continue the support into the new year. The first thing we get to look forward to is tomorrow on Raw the promos are finally finished and we find out who it is "Jericho". Also this year will bring the 10 year anniversaries for both ROH & TNA this year. The biggest Wrestlemania in history Rock vs Cena which be a great match. This year has all the makings for brining the year that wrestling takes another step forward as a whole rather then a step back. Finally here is a video that gives perspective of all the people WWE has fired this year http://http://www.wzronline.com/wrestling-news/video-the-wwe-future-endeavored-class-of-2011.html">
