PPV Predictions
WWE Payback
Pre-Show:
Sheamus vs Damien Sandow
I still don't understand why this match is on the pre-show but also for the first time in a while a pre-show match has some background. With the fact it's the pre-show match it doesn't need to be anything special. I would like to see Sandow win especially by cheating to push this feud a little longer.
Divas Title Match:
(c) Kaitlyn vs AJ
this will be the usual divas match aka just long enough to mean something. After what we saw on Monday I really want to see for once were this feud goes. I do think AJ wins tonight
United States Title Match
Kane vs (c) Dean Ambrose
this has all the makings to be a good match, and I hope it is because WWE needs to start making the other titles mean something to. Over the last year both Mid-Card titles have gone up and down in prestige and they need to start meaning something again. For the sake of the young talent or them holding the belts will mean nothing. Ambrose wins because he just won the belt.
Intercontinental Title Match:
The Miz vs (c) Wade Barrett vs Curtis Axel w/ Paul Heyman
I think unfortunately this match will be one of the few that the people will not care about because it doesn't seem like the fans are behind Wade or Miz that much. But it doesn't really matter because Curtis Axel's unbeaten streak will continue as he will win the IC title here tonight
Tag Team Title Match:
The Shield (Rollins & Reigns) vs Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton
If given enough time this match has all the makings to steal the show and it might. I would like to see a tag match steal the show again because it gives some fleeting hope that the tag division might get better. I see the Shield retaining the gold tonight because Bryan & Orton won't be able to co-exist
World Title Match:
(c) Dolph Ziggler w/ AJ & Big E Langston vs Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez
this should be a good match also but I hope this match ends the feud because now that Dolph's back we can see someone new challenging for the title & fighting Big E. I think Dolph retains the title because it's his first defense.
CM Punk w/ Paul Heyman vs Chris Jericho
This match will be the match of the night but it depends on if they will be to top or even match what they did last year. I think Punk wins here because it is his first match back and they need start giving him some momentum back
WWE Title Match:
(c) John Cena vs Ryback
Even though Ryback has lost every PPV match he has had this year and hasn't really wrestled on RAW enough to remember the last time he won on TV. Which is why I would let him win tonight to give him a big win. But I am not WWE and they will not have Ryback win, Cena retains the gold tonight.
