Too Cold Scorpio Average on Mic Good in the ring Scorpio's career really didn't begin to take off until he was allowed to be himself and wrestle like he was in ECW. While in ECW Scorpio stole the show many times with various different challengers from Eddie Guerrero to Dean Malenko to Tazz to Shane Douglas to Mickey Whipwreck and many others. Scorpio became one of the best in the ring in ECW during his time in the company, Scorpio left ECW in 1996 for the WWE. In the WWE he became Flash Funk where he would dance to the ring but he never reached the championship success he had in ECW. Scorpio even in his late 40's now is still good in the ring and can still give anyone a run for their money. Happy Birthday Mick!!! Have a Nice Day!! I would like to wish a happy birthday to the "Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley who turns 48 years old today. Mick has been wrestling since the late 1980's where he wrestled like most of the era in various territories in North America. Mick was known for WCCW, CWA, UWF, & GWF before he got signed by WCW. While in WCW Mick feuded with Van Hammer, Sting, Abdullah The Butcher, Paul Orndorff, & probably one of the biggest lost opportunities in Mick's career was his feud with Vader. This wasn't because of either participant but because of the incompetence of WCW management to let a money maker write itself. Mick went on to make a name for himself in ECW & Japan as a Crazy, Death match Champion. That in a way may have gotten him noticed by the WWE which were Mick became a Hall of Famer and a legend in the Pro-Wrestling Industry. This is a change of pace a bit with this blog series I am now moving back to WCW and a moment that may not seem like a big deal now but was a big deal when it happened. I am talking about SuperBrawl 1998 Steiner's vs Outsiders to be specific, this match was special for one reason; as tonight was the night Scott Steiner joined the NWO. He turned on his brother during the match and became apart of the NWO and transformed into the Blonde haired, muscle bound, Big bad Booty daddy we all know. Slammiversary         Gail Kim vs Taryn Terrell this match will be a usual knockouts match and I don't think it should go to long because Taryn isn't that good in the ring so keep the match short to cover her lack of in ring skill. With this likely being the blow off of the feud in which case I think Taryn wins tonight.   Gut Check BFG Series Match: Sam Shaw vs Jay Bradley this match should be given enough to time to allow both men to show how good they are and how far they have come and if they really deserve to be in the BFG series. I think the experience factor will hurt Sam Shaw and Jay Bradley will win here.   Joseph Park vs (c) Devon (Television Title Match) I feel like over the last couple of years the TNA TV title has lost most of it's meaning because of how sparingly it is defended. So I think Park should win the belt because unless they plan on making Devon defend the belt there is no reason why he should keep the gold....

In this series we have looked back at many different stars from numerous different Wrestling companies but now we are back in the WWE for this one. This man like some of the other men we have looked back at in this series had a past & was highly touted in the business. But WWE didn't care about Terry's past they wanted to make him what ever they wanted. So they did and Terry Taylor debuts in WWF as Red Rooster.  A complete joke of a character and a waste of a possible top heel.
